5 Good reasons to see Nat Harris & Hannah Camilleri: Pét-Nat + Han ah Chocolat

1. There are two of us, which could potentially double the opportunity for laughter and fun. It’s maths.

2. If you like upbeat 90s house tracks, horny goblins and 18th-century theatrics.

3. Hannah and Nat are both the third child out of four siblings. Maybe you can relate to our need to be “seen” and our people-pleasing ways? And both their nan’s surnames were McNamara. Yes, we are looking into it. From an aesthetic point of view, Nat and Hannah have really different hair.

4. If you love the thrill of laughing and would like to check out something a little different from stand-up

5. If you watched the successful lockdown web series, Little Shits created by Hannah featuring Nat and wanted to see more, then this is the perfect opportunity

Nat Harris & Hannah Camilleri perform Pét-Nat + Han ah Chocolat aaaa at The Improv Conspiracy Swanston Fridays Saturdays & Sundays

5 Good Reasons to See That One Time I Joined The Illuminati by Lou Wall

1. I trolled the Illuminati for 5 months for this show. Make the dissolution of my friendships, career, and self-worth worth it.

2. My mum broke into a Freemason’s lodge to help me research this show.

3. With 6 original songs, this is basically a pop concert about a secret global cabal.

4. I will literally give you the QR code that gets you into the secret page on the official Illuminati Website.

5. We’ve been hearing a lot about the damage that conspiracy thinking has done to the world lately. People are looking for serious, intelligent content providing keen insight into the issue. This is not that show. You will not be refunded.

That One Time I Joined The Illuminati by Lou Wall is on at Storyville Melbourne Apr 6-18

5 Good Reasons to see Scary Goats Tour

1. It’s an hour-long horror-comedy play! There aren’t many plays on for the festival this year, and even fewer are about goats! We at SGT are proud to be the only ghost goat-centric play* on for this year’s festival.

2. The horror movie shout-outs. We are big fans of classic horror films here at SGT, and we wanted to pay tribute to some of our favourites. From the characters’ names to some key scenes, keen-eyed and eared horror fans will spot some homages to some of the most influential films of the genre.

3. The puns. Oh, the puns. Have you ever wondered how many goat-themed puns can be packed into an hour show? Wonder no more!

4. It’s been in production for 18 months. Scary Goats Tour was originally written in 2019 to be staged for the 2020 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. We all know how that turned out – due to Covid the show was goatsponed to 2021 but now we are ready to grab this year’s festival by the horns!

5. It’s educational! The show features many fun and surprising facts about goats! Did you know that goats can swim? We didn’t until we wrote the show! Come to Scary Goats Tour and learn even more fun facts!

*that we know of.

Scary Goats Tour is on at The Butterfly Club til April 4 (Get in quick!) at 5.30pm

5 Good Reasons to see Lauren Edwards: Live, Laugh, Lauren

1. Living. There are no tragic deaths in this show; everyone lives. In fact, this show is very good for your health and wellbeing.
2. Laughing. There is definitely some laughing. Hopefully a lot of laughing.
3. Lauren. That’s me; I’m Lauren. I’m in this show and I’m pretty cute. I like sheet masks.
4. This is my MICF debut, so you’d be able to tell people you were there at the very beginning before I got super famous and started a cult following of devotees who come to visit me and my dog, Grant, at our yoga retreat on the Gold Coast.
5. I don’t actually have a dog called Grant, but if lots of people come to the show I could afford to buy one.
Lauren Edwards performs Live, Laugh, Lauren  at The Butterfly Club 29 March – 4 April

5 Good Reasons to See Wailing Sarah – Apology Tour

1.      Ripped from the headlines – Remember all the out-of-touch things rich celebrities said and did last year? Put them all into a blender and you have Australia’s #1 WAG, and foot-in-mouth expert, Talia Arnott-Brown.

2.      Variety – Apology Tour has been designed as a raucous mix of scripted comedy and improv. Every night will follow the same path but you the audience will play a large part in making each night unique and unforgettable.

3.      Girl Power – Apology Tour is led by two emerging comedic performers, Sarah Nicolazzo and Aisling Rose McGrogan playing Talia and her put-upon assistant Ainsley respectively. They have cut their teeth in the local improv scene and have both made award nominated comedy shows for the web. This is their live debut together.

4.      Guests – Each night Talia will welcome to the stage a special guest played by a different improviser. Who will they be playing? They will find out when you do! Stay tuned to our socials for the line-up of funny faces dropping in each night.

5 Good Reasons To See Big Big Big: Catching Jack

1. There is no risk of dysentery. While our show takes place in the 1800s, we
are very clean people who wash “regularly.”

2. We built a massive Big Ben, like it’s really big. I don’t know what more you people could want.

3. Watch us solve a 150 year old mystery. It’s about time someone caught Jack The Ripper, and you have the chance to witness it personally. It’ll be quite the dinner party story.

4. Rats features heavily throughout this production – nature’s kindest
creature. Did you know that their teeth never stop growing?

5. We don’t do British accents. You don’t want it. We don’t want it. You’re
safe.

Big Big Big performs Catching Jack at The Improv Conspiracy Theatre Mar 25 – Apr 4
