Five Good Reasons to see Carita Farrer Spencer – Larry Paradiseo and The Fabulous Dame Farrar Live at The Galleon

2. This show features seriously funny comedy combined with fantastic live music ranging from Marvin Gaye, to Opera.

3. You can kick back with a glass of wine and watch this show in the uber chilled surrounds of St Kilda’s famous cafe – The Galleon. (It’s not usually open at night and I’m the only one performing there during the MICF, so it’s a bit spesh!)

4. There are plenty of reviewers and Facebook fans who’ll vouch for how good this show is.

5. A woman dressed as a man, cracking onto women, is always worth a look.

5 Good Reasons to see JOEL OZBORN Be Here Now

1. By coming to my show ‘Be Here Now’, you’ll have the opportunity to one day say, “Yeah, well I was lucky enough to see Joel Ozborn back in 2015 when he was performing in the Pizza Room at the Forum Theatre, if you can believe it! I feel like one of those people who got to see the Beatles perform in the Cavern before they took off into the stratosphere!”

2. My previous solo shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival have all sold out! Ok, admittedly I was only doing Monday nights, however after having shared the stage in Melbourne numerous times with Akmal and Arj Barker, this’ll be your first opportunity to see me in my full solo run here in Melbourne. (Note: I’ll be taking Monday nights off this time.)

3. I’ll be taking more risks in this show than ever before. I can’t give away too much as I don’t want to ruin any surprises, however I’m excited to say I will be revealing for the first time ever on stage my big lifetime achievement!

4. Here’s a review from the last time I was in Melbourne “He’s disarming; he’s accessible without being common; articulate and clever without being smug… bloody funny.” THE AGE. But don’t take their word for it, come see for yourself!

1. Plushophiles (plushies) can openly enjoy themselves in public and no one will know your secret.

2. Stereotypes will be challenged, broken down and totally put back together stronger than ever before.

4. If you haven’t experienced adult-themed puppetry you haven’t lived (AND Christmas Eve comes early…)

Five Good Reasons To See Miss Itchy’s Lazy Susan

1. Miss Itchy have won a Barry Award, A Piece of Wood Award and Heaviest Aggregate Show of the Festival.

2. There’s this bit in it where stuff shoots out of one of the cast members*.

3. If you have a sudden urge to get married or buried during the show, one of the cast members is an ordained Doctor Reverend**.

4. If you don’t come to this show, you’ll never know the glory that two fat mermaids, writhing on Black Rock Beach can give you in the downstairs area – if you know what we mean and if you don’t know what we mean, we mean there’s two FishBitches in this show and they’re more sex than 5 tonnes of sex explosion that’s busted out all over a public place –  if you know what we mean and if you STILL don’t know what we mean, we mean, Oh – ***you WILL get a moist boner.

5. It’s the only show in the entire festival with a free monkey****.

* The delectable Scott Brennan, who plays Prince Sex-Wee
** The Very Reverend Dr. Tim Harris officiates the show.
*** Yes, even the ladies will be turgid.

There is in fact only One Good Reason to See Simon Taylor

5 Good Reasons to see Dolly Diamond The Real Queen Of Moomba

1. I’ve dedicated the last 22 years to try and become the Queen of MOOMBA (QOM), the least you can do is come along for one night.

2. It’s bloody funny.

3. I love Melbourne, and nearly all of the money from each ticket sold goes to me.
Except for Registration, Publicity, Advertising and Booze (which will go in me).

4. It’s my first year doing the MICF.
Which is like the first day of school or a new job..and we all remember how shit that was.
So come and watch me fall over & get grapes put down my knickers by the back row bullies.

5. Dave Hughes doesn’t need the money.
