1. We try make the millennial experience relatable and approachable, so much so that we once had a fan come up to us after a show and say, “Haha, I do that”.
2. We make sure to answer the age old questions, “why are we here?”, “who do I want to be?” & “when will Sex and the City finally be available on Netflix?”.
3. Seeing as the comedy festival is in late March/early April, which according to my Year 4 project on seasons is right in the middle of Autumn, which is infamously known as having the most unpredictable and temperamental weather changes, which to be honest is getting worse because of climate change and fossil fuels… It is not exactly cold yet, but definitely not warm anymore, which is hard to dress for… Anyway our venue has a heater and an AC.
4. We are regularly mistaken on the street for similar comedy duos such as Kath and Kim, Simon and Garfunkel and Gillard and Rudd.
5. If you like singing, dancing, sketch, music, drama, dating, choir, school bullies, hot teachers, internships, the free tram zone, Friday nights at the NGV and 2 minute noodles without the vegetables – you’ll probably like our show.
Jake Glanc and Ella Kamer perform Twenties at the Melba Spiegeltent.
